Paul’s a great videographer so it was easy to come up with a concept for Louisville Water. 

LW wanted something updated, youthful, fun that conveyed their history.

I began story boarding. I loved the concept of using blue for obvious reasons, I chose a lighter blue to keep it youthful and warm. LW is also a children’s science museum so I wanted to make sure the colors were inviting. 

I used historical photos for backgrounds, symbolizing the history foundation being in the back/past.

LW is on the edge of a river, which I also utilized as an asset. I created a quick texture/grid sequence to add a little scientific feeling. 

I wanted to do something full screen for the beginning to set the tone and highlight the focus of the video.
